What is quercetin?

What is bromelain?
Bromelain is a mixture of proteolytic (protein-degrading) enzymes found naturally in pineapple (Ananas comosus). It is mainly concentrated in the stem and core of the pineapple. Bromelain's ability to break down proteins means that it is often used to aid digestion.
