Smedur Faucet Cleaner Ahlstrom + Active Carbon

Gift! A simple Ultrafiltration cartridge is included in the package as a gift with the purchase of any Smedur.

This means you'll receive a cartridge with the purification technology of your choice + an Ultrafiltration cartridge, allowing you to compare the technologies and see which cartridge best suits your water. Good to know for when you need to order new cartridges! Smedur is a small, practical, and stainless purifier that is mounted on the kitchen faucet. The stainless steel quality is the highest for water purification. Smedur is easy to clean and to change the filter in.

The water purifier is suitable for soft to moderately hard municipal water. If you have a private well or hard water, we recommend one of the larger water purifiers from Planetsown, such as the G1 or G2.

We offer two different products with two different purification technologies to choose from:

• Ahlstrom with Activated Carbon.

The latest filter solution! Offers the same efficiency but with better durability and flow.

• Ultrafiltration (UF) with Activated Carbon.

Very efficient filtration, but in some cases, if there are many particles in the water, it may not last as long as expected. In that case, use the new Ahlstrom + activated carbon instead.

Ahlstrom membrane is a relatively new technology manufactured by Ahlstrom-Munksjö, a Swedish-Finnish company. This filter media is one of the most effective technologies we work with, and it removes a wide range of pathogens and contaminants. For example, bacteria, parasites, viruses, endotoxins, pharmaceutical residues, microplastics, PFAS substances, etc. Read more about Ahlstrom here.

UF technology was developed in Japan and is the same technology we use in our survival filters. The technology is effective against particles larger than 0.01 micrometers, heavy metals, and microorganisms in the water such as bacteria, parasites, amoebas, etc.

Activated carbon handles, for example, chlorine, organic pollutants, and especially PFAS substances, which are an increasing problem worldwide. It is also excellent for improving the taste and smell of drinking water.

Activated carbon is included in both UF + activated carbon and in Ahlstrom + activated carbon to achieve the broadest possible purification.

Dimensions: The filter housing is 13 cm long and 6 cm in diameter.

Capacity: Maximum 1.5 liters per minute for cartridges with Ahlstrom and 1 liter per minute for cartridges with UF.

Replace the cartridge after 6 months unless it indicates that it needs replacing earlier. For UF cartridges, the flow may stop completely when it’s full. Turn off the water when switching between filtered and unfiltered water to avoid unnecessary high pressure in the purifier.

Installation: On kitchen faucets with external thread M22x1 or internal thread M24x1. An adapter is included.
