Question: How long is it appropriate to take a magnesium supplement?
Answer: Magnesium on its own can be taken until the symptoms of deficiency have disappeared. After that, it’s advisable to switch to a formula that combines magnesium and calcium.
Question: Why are some forms of magnesium laxative?
Answer: Some people find that they get loose stools when taking a high amount of magnesium. This is absolutely nothing dangerous or strange. It has to do with something called osmosis. This means that two fluids with different concentrations, separated by a semi-permeable membrane, attempt to reach equilibrium.
When there is more magnesium dissolved in water inside the intestines than in the surrounding intestinal wall, osmosis tries to balance the concentration.
Water then flows into the intestine through the intestinal wall in greater amounts, resulting in a laxative effect. Natural, but unpleasant. Simply reduce the amount of magnesium until everything feels fine again, and then slowly increase the dose to your desired level. This can be beneficial for those who suffer from constipation.

This product is as easy to prepare as a cup of tea.

Pour 2 teaspoons of Super Mag into a large heat-resistant glass.

Fill about halfway with boiling water while stirring until the liquid is clear. Add more boiling water if needed.

Let it cool down or top it off with cold water.
Tip! You can also add a tea bag, such as chamomile, in the evening.
Magnesium is ionized in boiling water, which aids absorption for direct uptake in the body. If the powder is not mixed with boiling water, the magnesium will not ionize.
